About Us.

Urmston Town Junior Football Club was founded in 1996 and has grown over the years to become one of Trafford's largest Junior Football Clubs with over 30 teams and over 450 registered players.

Urmston Town Junior Football Club operates regular coaching courses for boys and girls from the ages of 5 years and upwards and operates teams from Under 7s through to Under 21s. Between the ages of Under 7s and Under 10s the teams play mini soccer (7 a side) and 11 a side for Under 11s and above. The boys teams compete in a number of leagues within the surrounding districts, Timperley and District Football League, City of Salford Soccer League and more.

Urmston Town Junior Football Club have a number of girls teams who have been very successful within the South Manchester Girls Football League and we expect the girls teams to expand over the coming years.

The Club is run by a Management Committee comprising of a Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Membership Secretary, Treasurer, Small Sided Co-Ordinator plus team managers/coaches and any other persons nominated by the Committee. The Club has a constitution and operates codes of conduct outlining responsibilities in four areas for team managers/coaches, players, parents/guardians/spectators and of course the Club itself.

All the Club Managers and Coaches are qualified FA coaches and have a minimum of FA Junior Team Manager or FA Level 1 certificates, many are hoping to complete Level 2 certificates in the near future.

In 2004 Urmston Town JFC were proud to become an FA Charter Standard Club and saw the opening of the new changing rooms which have been thoroughly utilised by players, managers, referees, parents and visitors.
